Persephone and the Pomegranate Seed

A tiny pink tourmaline orb, ripe with color. Like a single seed from Persephone’s pomegranate, it holds a whole story in its small, luminous center.

The pomegranate binds Persephone to the underworld, weaving her story through descent and return, separation and reunion. Here, its seed becomes a symbol of what remains alive beneath the surface. The desire we carry through a difficult season. The ember we tend to even when it feels it might go out and all might be lost.

Pink tourmaline brings the heart into this telling. A reminder to tend our tenderness as we change, and to leave room for pleasure as much as we can, even while we are becoming someone new.

Part of our SPIRIT collection, Pomegranate Seed honors the mysteries of our own seasons. Some things take root in the dark.
