Yesterday we experienced what is called in astro language a "Venus Cazimi." This occurs when a planet is so close to (conjunct) the Sun that it is as if it is inside the very heart of the Sun. It is almost as if it is being Pac-Man gobbled by the exuberance of the center of our solar system. Or perhaps, more like being lit from within. This is how we come to see ourselves more clearly.
All week I have had a new adorable symptom of waking up with like a gag reflex in my throat. After a few days I felt into it and de-coding its meaning what was revealed to me was this: Use your voice. Stop hiding.
As I looked more in depth at my astrology chart, there were glaringly obvious signs of why this symptom would take form for me right now with the transits I am experiencing.
And it is true, my voice is ready to become more unplugged and more authentically true to herself.
Then, when I also related it to this Venus retrograde in Leo, which we are smack in the middle of, and the cazimi along with the Leo New Moon coming on the 16th, I realized this theme is up for a lot of us.
Venus desires beauty, art, romance, pleasure, and nectar.
Leo represents the HEART, courage, joy, play, the inner child, and creative self-expression.
With the energies of both Venus and the Sun in the sign of the Lion, in the midst of so much illumination occurring WHILE we also are reviewing our relationship to what we value and wish to call into our lives, it is only natural that however our bodies need to get our attention, they will.
And if your crystals are breaking or even shattering on a regular basis right now, that also makes total and perfect sense. They are, after all, made up of much the same energies and elements as the rest of the universe, just like us.
What is meant to be released will take the reigns and let itself go if we can not give up the control. A lesson I seem to learn on the daily these past few weeks.
I decided on last Friday that I am committing to doing at least one thing every single day that I SAY I want, but have been too afraid to take action on. Maybe you want to try something along these lines if you haven't already.
Oh, and I am singing. (Alone in my car or house.) Even when it sounds so totally not good that I cringe a little. I am opening my throat to let the sounds that long for space to touch the air around me. I feel that if I am connecting to the idea of self-expression, I must then express.
